Do you need a done-for-you lesson plan for your homeschool preschool Co Op with the letter F? I did. I gathered all my favorite letter F crafts and preschool ideas, then put it together for a full 2 hour preschool lesson.

Welcome to Preschool Co Op! If you are wanting to know how to start an at home preschool co op, go here for beginning instructions. If you are all set, and just want to hop into the Letter F preschool co op lesson plan, then let’s go!

It’s F!
F has only one sound FFFFFFF. Like Family. Who is in your family?

F-Family Craft

Families are really important. And we all have different people in our families. There are moms, dads, brothers, sisters, grandmas, grandpas, even cousins and aunts and uncles. Let’s talk about your family that lives in your home. And let’s draw their faces, and do some coloring of our family.

Have them draw, color, and glue their family onto a piece of construction paper.

(once they are done, move back into talking about the letter F, and introduce Handwriting)

Handwriting the letter F

What other sounds can you think of that start with F?

(Show the letter Ff). You draw F a lot like E. A line down and a line over on top and in the middle. That’s it!

Now we are going to practice on this piece of paper, and you can color the flowers too. Look, there are 1,2,3,4,5 five frowning flowers.
